PATROL DIVISION
The Patrol Division is the backbone of the Police Department from which all other support-units are derived. These trained Officers serve the law enforcement needs of Spearfish's citizens, businesses, and visitors.
Police Officers assigned to the Patrol Division serve our community around the clock 24 hours a day, everyday of the year.
The Patrol Division consists of trained Officers that specialize in several different fields of Law Enforcement. Along with regular patrol duties, some fields include the Animal Patrol, Bicycle Patrol, D.A.R.E., School Resource Officer, University Police, and the Spearfish Police Reserves.
